Both GI and GP pipes are the same. Made from galvanized iron, these pipes are widely used for the distribution of water in rural areas, where the requirement of water is less. These pipes are cheap, lightweight, easy to handle, and easier to join. You can also find them in light, medium, and heavy grades depending on the sheet.
