From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership
The inspiring journey of VGC Beena began with a young visionary, Shri. Vijayan, who, at just 16, set out on a path of hard work and determination. Starting as a scrap collector, he dreamt of building a business that would one day redefine the construction industry.
In 1982, with his hard-earned savings, Shri. Vijayan established the first VGC Beena store in Medamukku, Kayamkulam. His relentless pursuit of excellence led to the expansion of the business, and by 1998, VGC Beena had ventured into wholesale trading. As the company flourished, Mr. Prakash took charge of the hardware division, allowing Shri. Vijayan to explore new business avenues.
Between 1994 and 1998, VGC Beena witnessed its golden years of growth, with the launch of South India’s first exclusive tile showroom—a groundbreaking achievement that set the company apart.

Expansion & Milestones
The new millennium marked an era of rapid expansion for VGC Beena:
- 2000 & 2003 – Introduction of electrical and roofing sheet divisions in the wholesale sector.
- 2006 – Expansion with a roofing solutions showroom in Alakkulam, reaching a milestone annual turnover of ₹20 crore.
- 2012 – Launch of anin-house roofing profiling unit to enhance product offerings.
- 2015 – Addition of agricultural equipment to our product line, achieving a remarkable ₹100 crore turnover, and the opening of a showroom in Malappuram.
- 2017 – Expansion to Kottayam and the launch of Agripal, our dedicated division for agricultural equipment.
- 2018 – Opening of a new showroom in Punalur, further strengthening our presence in Kerala.
